The hotel group and Satli Foundation, both based in San Pedro de Alcantara, have delivered to the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Marbella (AECC) new toys that they have gathered thanks to the solidarity campaign launched early last December under the slogan “Toys that give hope.”

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, the hotel group and Satli Foundation launched last December 5 a solidarity campaign to get new toys for children Marbella fighting valiantly with cancer. Under the slogan “Toys that give hope,” and collaborating for the second time with the AECC of Marbella, BlueBay as well as Satli Foundation wish to make the imminent arrival of the Three Kings a little more special for children within in our town who suffer from this terrible disease.

The BlueBay group through BlueBay Gourmet, its restaurants brand specializing in international cuisine, set up the Black & White restaurant in Puerto Banus as the main collection point for both customers and others interested in collaborating with this initiative.

After more than three weeks collecting and receiving items, Luis Pacheco, Manager General of BlueBay Gourmet, has delivered toys to the AECC Marbella through his close collaborator, Ms. Clara Revuelta. The delivery took place yesterday morning at the premises of Black & White, one of the four restaurants BlueBay manages in Puerto Banus.

Representatives of the AECC Marbella have expressed their joy and gratitude to the people who have collaborated with “Toys that give hope” to bring new items, as well as to the heads of BlueBay Gourmet and Satli Foundation for spearheading this initiative in which their paths have crossed again.

The AECC Marbella will distribute these toys among children with cancer receiving treatment at the Hospital Costa del Sol on the eve of the traditional procession of the Magi through the city.
